Actually, I own too many Fujifilm X bodies and lenses, including the 16mm f1.4, the 16mm f2.8, a TTartisan 17mm f1.4 and an 18mm f2. For general shooting I prefer the 18mm field of view, but I do like the quieter and faster focusing of the 16mm f2.8.

As for other parts of the XF 14mm f2.8 R lens, like the other XF lenses, there is a focus ring. The focus ring is pretty cool too. If you want to focus manually, you simply pull the focus ring back towards the rear element. A distant scale is then revealed, which you can use with the depth of field scale. The focus ring is nice and smooth as well.
With exceptional build quality, the Fujifilm XF 16mm f/1.4 is built to last. When mounted to a larger Fujifilm body such as the X-Pro3 or the X-T4, the pairing is perfect. The XF 18mm f1.4 R LM WR lens is obviously not going be as compact or as light as the XF 18mm f2 R lens, which is actually one of my favorite Fujifilm lenses, by the way, but keep in mind that you’re getting an f1.4 lens here with better optics and features. Nearly everyone needs a general-purpose zoom lens, and the Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 DC DN Contemporary Lens is an outstanding choice for APS-C camera owners (and not a bad choice for full-frame camera owners willing to work within the smaller image circle). The advantages of a smaller image circle are reduced cost, decreased size, and a lower price I quite liked that little zoom, and am currently working on an updated Fuji X-mount review like this one. The 10-18mm provides an obvious compliment to that lens, allowing for coverage from 10-50mm between the two lenses, or the equivalent of 15-75mm on full frame.
